I was inspired by a discussion about Stephen Hawking’s recent job posting on Adafruit’s New Years Eve Ask an Engineer show. So I made an Open Source Assistive Technology wiki with the goal of having a place to discuss and develop open source hardware solutions for various disabilities.

These include:

• speech synthesis
• braille displays
• alternative keyboards
• alternative mice
• etc…

Currently the site is very sparse, but I hope others will find it a useful place to connect and share needs and solutions.
